Tony Romano covered the track info with the Fair, any one with concerns should let him know and he will take this back to the Fair. We are no open for donations, any and all. Andy Fusco was at a meeting with board member only. He gave his legal opinion on the idea of having to separate not for profit organizations on one track. Tony Sobon has given this some thought and is still not convinced with the answers he was given. It was decided to have a meeting with someone who is not associated with the club for a 2nd opinion. Lori Wilcox will set up a meeting with her boss. It was discussed about having an "assessment" for each family to make sure that everyone is raising their share of the track money needed for the new facility. There would be a dollar amount assessed for each family and they could either fund raise the amount or pay the amount. It is in the discussion stage and will be talked about further. Discussion regarding raising our club dues. It has been at $15.00 for a long time. It was suggested to raise it a certain percentage each year instead of one big jump, it was suggested that we raise it to $25.00. It was discussed that the Quartermidgets pay $80.00 for dues, Tony will check into the Quartmidget registrations to see what the breakdown is as to what goes to the club and what goes to QMA. It was decided to leave dues as they are for right now since we need to get the registrations out. It was found out that the Quartermidgets pay $155.00 to join the club. $80.00 to the club and the $7500 is for QMA Website is up and running, www.syracusemicrodclub.com. Discussion on hoodies. We can get hoodies, embroidered on the back with the logo for $39.00 from Topstitch. The sweatshirts would be gray. Contact for these would be Missy Babcock. We can also get hoodies from A&D Embroidery, they would have the club logo on the front and the back would be vinyl letters with the drivers name and car number. These would be $29.00 plus tax, ($30.03 total). Lori Wilcox would be the contact for these. Having club patches was discussed, will check on prices. Proposals - 1-1-04 - failed - Keeping rule book for two years.
Sodus has put a hold on running alcohol. They will be running gas weekly instead. The fuel with alcohol additives shouldn't affect us. Might have to look into track fuel if this becomes a problem.
