Minutes - Wednesday, July 2, 2003

The meeting was called to order by Club President Doug Gwilt.
It was motioned to accept the financial report and minutes of the June meeting.

DISCUSSION:

50/50: 50/50 money was changed to our own account - saved $19.95 per month.

Syracuse State Race: An ambulance on call will cost $90.00 per day. Bob Forbes will take care of the pig for the pig roast. Betty Wilcox will get the salt potatoes, butter, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, and rolls. Scott Babcock will check with his brother Jeff about getting the rolls at cost. Betty will also take care of getting the plates, napkins, and silverware. Sue Pulverenti will make the macaroni salad, pasta salad, and fruit salad. Tony Romano will bring the grill.

Syracuse State Race Parking: Doug Gwilt will talk to security at the fairgrounds to see where we can park haulers and what gates can be used. Tom Wilcox Jr. will also speak with someone at the fairgrounds. Tony has ordered 4 port-a-potties for the race.

Motioned by: Doug Gwilt
Seconded by: Betty Wilcox

At the Syracuse State Race the only thing you can bring on the track during the race is what you can carry.

Lights: The two lights on the front of the concession stand will be changed this week.

Paving: $14000 to grind and pave. Tom Wilcox Jr. suggested we speak to the fair and see if they would be willing to split the cost with us. Tony spoke to Spano, and will get an estimate from them.

Miscellaneous: Tony will check about getting holiday ice at our track all the time. Tony doesn't have any more information on the pizza fund-raiser. Propose to cancel the July 19th race. Also propose to race July 21 instead of July 24 to make it easier for those going to Southern Tier, gives a little break in between.

The next meeting will be held August 6, 2003.

Motion to adjourn meeting from Tony Romano, seconded by Rick Zacharias.
