End of the year trophies - Everyone must race at least 5 (five) point races or buy in at currewnt sign in price of $50.00 to recieve a trophy. No exceptions. Motion passed. Rookies - You must race a full season to be considered a rookie. If your age inhibits you to only a few races, you will be eligable to be considered a rookie the following year. If you run 5 (five) races, you are not eligable to be considered a rookie the following year. When you sign in for a points race, that will be your rookie year. If you choose only to run a few races, while having the oportunity to race the full season, it will be considered that you have raced your rookie season. Motion passed with all in favor. Jim Smith suggested we race the weekend of the Syracuse Nationals on Saturday night. This would be good advertisement for the club. The winter party is scheduled for February 15, 2003 from 6 to 10 PM. Everyone should bring a dish to pass. Fund raiser - Purchase Krispy Kreme donuts for $2.50 per dozen and sell them for $5.00 per dozen. Donuts will be sold at area Wal-Mart stores, either Feb. 22 or March 1. To be discussed at next meeting: Driver of the Year, Most Improved, and Rookie of the Year awards to be voted on by the board. We need to advertise our club. We need ideas, please think about it and let us know. Motion to adjourn meeting from Mike Ferguson, seconded by Scott Babcock. |
