Motion to accept the minutes from the last meeting by Mike Ferguson, seconded by Rick Zacharias.
Motion to accept the financial statement by Dave Kimball, seconded by Rick Zacharias.

PROPOSALS:

12-02-01 - Proposal tabled

12-02-02 - Add section 4.2.3 - To allow the chamfering of the lifter bosses, take effect 2004
Vote - 3 Yes

12-02-03 - Add plug wire resistance spec
Vote - 3 Yes

12-02-04 - To change carb throttle shaft spec section 4.2.11.3, change shaft minimum thickness from .086 at front and .500 at rear to .086 minimum at rear and .040 minimum at front. The recess on the backside of the throttle shaft must be minimum of .030.
Vote - 3 Yes

12-02-05 - To change section 8.0.15.4.1 to read the use of segmented scrub rails is allowed in all classes. This is an option, you do not have to do this.
Vote - 3 Yes

12-02-06 - Add section 4.21.11 - No modification allowed to butterfly flat area where butterfly meets throttle shaft to be .059 minimum.
Vote - 3 Yes

12-02-07 - To change the wording of section 1.0 open wheel car specs - section 1.1.10 floor
Change from:
must be 1/16 (.063) aluminum or steel inder driver's area and securely fastened (minimum 3 fasteners)

Changed to read:
floors can be 1/16 (.063) aluminum or .032 steel under driver's area and securely fastened.

NEW BUSINESS:
Tech will be done on a weekly basis at club level to one class per week.
Tech Day - Karl Schartner and Dave Kimball for open wheels
Mike Ferguson, Tom Wilcox Jr, and Doug Gwilt for microds

End of the year trophies - Everyone must race at least 5 (five) point races or buy in at currewnt sign in price of $50.00 to recieve a trophy. No exceptions. Motion passed.

Rookies - You must race a full season to be considered a rookie. If your age inhibits you to only a few races, you will be eligable to be considered a rookie the following year. If you run 5 (five) races, you are not eligable to be considered a rookie the following year. When you sign in for a points race, that will be your rookie year. If you choose only to run a few races, while having the oportunity to race the full season, it will be considered that you have raced your rookie season. Motion passed with all in favor.

Jim Smith suggested we race the weekend of the Syracuse Nationals on Saturday night. This would be good advertisement for the club.

The winter party is scheduled for February 15, 2003 from 6 to 10 PM. Everyone should bring a dish to pass.

Fund raiser - Purchase Krispy Kreme donuts for $2.50 per dozen and sell them for $5.00 per dozen. Donuts will be sold at area Wal-Mart stores, either Feb. 22 or March 1.

To be discussed at next meeting: Driver of the Year, Most Improved, and Rookie of the Year awards to be voted on by the board.

We need to advertise our club. We need ideas, please think about it and let us know.
