STATE PROPOSALS:
1-03-01 - I propose that all open wheels have entire nose area from dash to front enclosed with at least .030. Materials to protect feet and legs from objects hitting them from outside of the car and put in rules under Section 20 Safety.
1-03-02 - Roll cage with single loop wanted to be a double loop.
1-03-03 - Proposal to increase stock open wheel to 370 pounds.
DISCUSSION: The Winter Party will be February 15, 2003. Krispy Kreme donut sale will be March 29, 2003 starting at 9:00 AM. Sale locations will be at the Finger Lakes Mall and the Wal-Marts in Dewitt, Camillus, and Clay. We will have 800 dozen to sell. Advertising will be done in the newspaper and on the radio. Anyone wishing to help with this fund-raiser should contact Tony.
Motion to have the Board vote for Driver of the Year, Most Improved/Rookie, and Most Popular Driver by Mike Ferguson, seconded by Tony Romano.
The Board will decide at a later date as to whether the flagger and pit steward will be in on the voting. Family of the Year will be voted on at the banquet, the same as in previous years. Registration forms will be sent out soon. Doug Gwilt will be talking to Tom Baker, Brian Sobus, Tom Juno, and Carl Koch about the possibility of flagging. Doug will also speak with Dustin Geers, Dan Kapazinski, and A.J. Burgess about announcing. The Club will have a Memorial Race for Gary Price. The kids will recieve a t-shirt instead of a trophy. This will be held June 8, 2003. Cars are still needed for the Custom Car Show March 21, 22, and 23, 2003. DISSCUSSION FOR NEXT MEETING:
